For more than 200 years, rum was the most important spirit in the U.S.

Today, despite consuming more than 25% of the world’s rum, the continental U.S. produces just less than 1%. The American rum shelf has grown stale, with the same beige bottles and tired pirate themes dominating the market. The House of American Cane wants to change that. By creating rum brands that draw on rum’s storied history, highlight the diversity and versatility of the spirit, and plain old taste delicious, we aim to rekindle America’s love affair with rum.
